OMSA Allocation Board Funding

The OMSA Allocation Board is a student peer review board that allocates funding to student organizations that host programs that directly impact OMSA constituents, enhance the OMSA mission and add value to the University community.   

Funding Eligibility

Any student organization that is in good standing with the University may apply.  Priority will be given to culturally based organizations including Greek-lettered organizations and *graduate/professional student organizations. 

Student organizations must attend the OMSA President's Roundtable each quarter to qualify for allocation board funding. The President's Roundtable is scheduled for Wednesday, April 1st from 5:00-6:30PM in the 5710 Community Lounge.

  • The deadline to submit a proposal is Mondays at noon.  Proposals submitted past the deadline will not be reviewed until the next cycle.

Review Process

The board will meet and review each proposal on the set meeting date and time.   Representatives from student organizations are invited to be present at the meeting at a designated time to answer any questions the board may have.  The allocation board will make its recommendation for funding and student organization will be notified via emails within 2 – 3 business days.

Applying to join the OMSA Allocation Board 

Applications are closed for the 2014-2015 OMSA Allocation board.  The OMSA Allocation Board is designed to support those programming efforts by the University's cultural student organizations that are consistent with the vision of OMSA. Four times each quarter, the Allocation Board reviews proposals submitted for OMSA funding. Board members are part of an engaged and active peer group which works collectively, participates in leadership development represents student and organizational constituents, and whose members are interested in enhancing their own leadership skills.  Applications are accepted in the autumn quarter. Check back in Autumn 2015 to join the 2015-2016 OMSA Allocation Board!
